I'm a realtor in NJ. Or I was until moving to Niagara Falls NY. My husband and I are looking at homes to buy up here. He wants his blue collar dream. Fine. I guess I'm not yet done letting him drag me around the country (I met him after I got out, he was still in) but he said this was the last time.
I was going to get out of realty. I haven't been doing it long and I don't particularly like it. But I am pushy and annoying and I browbeat sellers and I am damn good at moving houses. I'm not your friend. I don't care about your schedule or your privacy, if you want to sell your house then let prospective buyers make appointments that work for them, even if it's at the last minute. I don't care that you need to be there with your dog. Just come home for your lunch break and crate him. I'm just here to sell your house like you asked me to and get my cut.
The realtors around here are appointment Nazis. My husband doesn't really know his schedule until the morning of, and the sellers and listing agents keep demanding 24-48 hour notice. I am very accustomed to sometimes having to talk/push/browbeat sellers and listing agents into accepting a last minute appointment or working with a prospective buyer's unpredictable schedule. The realtors around here seem unwilling or unable to do that. Pussies.
Makes me want to get licensed in NYS so I can show these f*cking amateurs how to sell houses.
