Does any of you have experiences with smells you like very much? As I wrote before I love the smell of chewing gum and my husband and me love the smell of energy drinks. That makes it difficult for him to quit. He does have a little caffeine addiction, tried to quit a gazillion times without success.

I love my hubby smelling of chewing gum and energy drinks. If he manages to quit I will be very disappointed.

@Lemontree, I don't know if they did it in your husband's country, but my vet has told me that they pumped US soldiers full of energy drinks when they were patrolling in combat areas. They would send pallets and pallets over to his FOB. My vet was so addicted to them that when he had a few hours to sleep, he would wake up in the middle of it, down an energy drink, and go right back to sleep. They used to mix it in their Gatorade and everything. He had a really hard time coming off of them back home, but they were starting to get hard on his stomach. He beat it by tapering off slowly. It still gave him wicked headaches though.

Can you identify the particular smell of the energy drink? Like if it is strawberry flavored? If so, maybe try candles or room sprays in that scent.

I won't be really disappointed when he quits. I will be happy... but I just do love the smell... no idea why I mention this. Maybe because there was a thread about it. It smells so "hubby". When he quits I will miss the smell a bit but that's it.

The brand he likes best smells artificial, a bit sweet, a bit fruity, really like nothing else, just like energy drinks.

My guy is addicted to caffeine and he admits it but he loves that caffeinated feeling so much which makes it hard to quit for him. He did several half-assed tries... said it make him feel douzy and slow... actually he was not acting dozy and slow but normal.
Do you know Cave Johnson - the character from spiderman? He can be a bit like him. Here is a video:
.

This one is an even better example:

Has any of you noticed this behaviour in your guys when they are on caffeine?

I hate it by the way. Sometimes he tells you to do a thousand things at one time... and you stand there, puzzled, because he does not give you the time to comprehend and he says "What are you waiting for? Asap. Why are you still standing there?" or he ask me to bring him something. "When do you need it?", "Yesterday!"

He believes that I am slow and do not care... but he is just so quick... I cannot be that quick.
He has a conflict at work. There is a guy who just does the opposite of what he is told and my husband supervises him... and I am not sure if it is that guys fault or if hubby just confuses him...

So my guy struggles with hypervigilance but then he like being hypervigilant. Makes sense? I would be surprised. Doesn't make sense to me.

Weird. I used to call that guy who from Spiderman by the wrong name though I liked to compare my husband to him. Guess because we watched the clip where they gave the wrong name on youtube.

"Slow is smooth, smooth is fast" but I cannot be slow and think about what I am doing if somebody acts like this.
His nervousness makes everybody else nervous.

Having said that he can also be very patient and calm.
