Therapist a no show!

I am waiting for my therapist! There is no word of her or from her. I texted her to see if we are still meeting and I have heard nothing. My appointment was scheduled 26 minutes ago according to my text she sent 2 weeks ago! We usually meet an hour later than she said she scheduled. I don't know weather to wait for our "usual time slot" or just leave? Ugh! A 30 minute drive for nothing?!?

Why do you meet an hour later than scheduled? Does she run over with her previous patients? This doesnt seem like good practice on her part.

I will restate that...we usually meet at 12 my time, but when she texted me before her vacation she said I was scheduled at 11. I am still waiting in case it was a mix up. Since it was always 12 before this..but I am pretty annoyed. Obviously.It's almost 12 my time now.

I can see being annoyed. Perhaps it is a typo on her part and she will be there soon.

I hope it is a typo on her part. My ex T missed several sessions one with no notice to me at all after a hard last session which was my first session with EMDR. I had a bad week and then that. I hope your T shows up for you.

What happened?

Well....I was on the wrong floor the entire time * face turning red of embarrassment* and the therapist phone was charging on silent. I realized this close to 12 and went up to the proper floor. Thankfully her 12 cancelled so I got in. What an experience. Lol

... But I did find out today that my doctor/ psychiatrist who prescribes my medication left the practice suddenly and with out notice so that appointment is cancelled next week. My family physician left her practice a couple weeks ago....so I am without a doctor now. I am doing so well...I hope this doesn't set me back while I go looking for a new "team". At least I still have my therapist I guess.
