Is someone on this boards a therapist or psychologist? Is it possible to ask some theoretical questions about PTSD?

Nobody can give therapeutic or medical advice in a professional capacity.

You can ask anything you wish and receive responses from sufferers and supporters.

Most people here have lived experience of PTSD, either dealing with it for themselves or supporting someone who has it. Many of those people also have broad theoretical understanding of PTSD, because knowledge helps to give us power to improve things. There are a few professionals, but they are usually here as sufferers as well in their own right.

However, no-one here can confirm that someone else does or doesn't have PTSD, so that isn't a useful question to ask us. Apart from that, what do you want to know?
