Geezus, just found out dad is in hospital with pneumonia and congestive heart failure. Things don't look good.

This isn't going to be fun since my mom and I are in odds. When gran died, who I was also close to, mom refused to let me come home to say goodbye. Dad..he is a special man. Korean War Vet. Lost two platoons over there. One by a sniper and the other by some poisoned saki. He was injured by some bushwackers who jumped up and down on his back. He was in a coma for awhile. He is a good man. I don't want him suffering. He has seen and gone through enough.

Winterose, I am so very sorry this is going on in your dads life. It does not look good at all. You and your dad are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am also sorry you are at odds with your mom. I hope she mellows out enough to not make unnecesary hassles for you and that you some good closure with your dad. You sound so close to him.

To My Dad


Who loved Stan Kenton and could mimic each section perfectly with making sounds from his own lips. To Buddy Rich which he used to play his drums with on his records. Love you dad.

HAH..you can't block someone who knows HIPPA regs...I talked to my dad....he's ok I think hard to tell because he is good at hiding his own hurts. We talked Stan Kenton and played some for him and he told me he loved me very much.
