That is a great picture. It looks so big because the picture was taken from a very long distance away from the bridge. We don't have any internal size reference for the moon except for what we see on the Earth. We do have a good idea of the size of the bridge so when a very large object such as the bridge is all we have for comparison the moon looks huge. In actual fact the visible full moon is about the same apparent size as a quarter coin held about 9 feet away.
What few people know is that the moon actually has colours. They are very weak but if the colour saturation of the image is enhanced a bit it can look like this:
