unfortunately there will always be extremely bad people in the world and history quite clearly shows that. The romans did their fair share (until they met a bunch of Scottish bampots and decided it was easier to build a wall :D). The Vikings raped and pillaged and even the British covered 2/3rds of the world and I don't think they achieved that by chatting over tea and biscuits. Even now we have terrorists who are out there trying to mindlessly kill innocent people.
it is a sad state of affairs and most of it is connected to religion but the only thing we can do is accept the situation and survive as best we can. None of us are responsible for other peoples actions (unless deliberately provoked but then violence is not excusable) so you can't blame yourself for mankind's self destructive nature. All you can do is be who you choose to be and look after yourself and loved ones. You cant stop shit from happening but you are not responsible for it either

come to think of it, I was affected by a modern studies class at school. We were taught about the hydrogen bomb and at the time there was a war although I am not sure which one. Bosnia or Iraq at a guess. To my knowledge I was the only one in my class who was affected so again, this is not irrational just because you were 1 of 20 or so people. People do react differently to situations but that doesn't mean you are different or weaker compared to your then peers. You are only human and we are individually unique. That is not a bad thing though :)

Lol sorry-----I get mad at my iPhone for not having certain words in its dictionary-----I use auto fill most of the time when typing. Apple does not have certain words in their database. All curse words, and then words such as abuse, rape, kill, molest, and now I see holocaust is a no no word, too. It's Apple censorship-----written about by others online as well. I complain about it when I find a new word "banned" by Apple. Sorry for the tangent!
