I know the same feeling far to well, I usually try and put my attention towards a project asi have taken on a car to try and keep my in that state to the end result of habit finished a car but once again the bad side comes back from the press and you ended up in a rut like I am today and as the easiest solution is to turn to the bottle and self harm. From my experience this ain't the solution but it's the easiest option to escape reality. Don't let yourelsef fall into this sate and find something that you end joyed before and get into it and make it work for you, like it could be a car, rock climbing or even dressing up like a unicorn and danicing around a pine tree just find something to keep you're mind occupied.
