I was over at my neighbors this afternoon waiting for my daughter to get off the bus. As I was walking up the stairs I was hit by the most strong, putrid smell -- Marijuana. I will never forget that smell UGH!

It's disgusting, it's revolting and every time I smell it I want to vomit. I remember my father would sit outside with his neighbors, get high (the smell was sooo disgusting) then he would do unspeakable things to me.

I wanted to call the police but the "super" of the building said they wouldn't do anything because I couldn't identify exactly who it was. The whole thing is just sooo GROSS!

It makes me feel gross.

Smells are amazingly triggering. And they are more difficult to avoid than say loud people.

Relate Heather. Got a healthy fear. I stopped going to concerts because of it. No one around me tokes and I like it that way.

Wow Heather, that is great that you were able to identify the scenes with the trigger ... you're getting stronger every day ... empowerment is the next greatest thing to healing !;)

Thanks everyone. I've known this for a long, long time. I was 15 y/o and at a Bon Jovi concert and these 2 guys in front of us were smoking and I asked my friend what is that smell (cause I knew I remembered it) but I didn't know what it was. He told me that it was pot.

I feel a tremendous amount of anger.
