Me too! Yep. Actually, for me, it's a physical response to thinking I'm unsafe. My body responds before my conscious mind catches up. The scariest was when I was probably in middle school, and my sister sneaked up behind me. I only realized she was there when she said, "Ouch," from where I had leg-swept her onto the floor without knowing.

This is all amazing to read! I was diagnosed with ME (similar to Chronic Fatigue) ten years ago. Diagnosed with PTSD two years ago. The ME has been worse since addressing the PTSD. Muscle twitches, spasms and weakness happen throughout the day. I too just sat watching my arm twitch one day and videod my hand one day so I could show it to the doc if needed! My legs just lose all power sometimes and I can't stand. It sends me into panic. I've got a stick now to give me security. I've always put this down to ME but reading this I wonder if my recent worsening is trauma related as I find the only thing that soothes me is tightly wrapping my legs in a blanket and resting.
