I love your supportive component - just the above is not even close to accurate, so maybe ease back on saying things you don't understand.PTSD, is something that traps you in your amygdala. The part of the brain that thrusts out adrenaline when in danger.
The SNS initiates the sending of signals to the adrenal glands, which secretes adrenalin. The amygdala processes emotion, focused on fear and aggression. It has other uses around memory too. That is the basics.
