I know this is beyond pointless to deal with at this time but I just want to report that when using the old smilies, they drop to the end of a post no matter where they were inserted in the text. :bored: <--This is the place where the smilie was inserted in my text, but it will appear at the end anyway.

Oh, It didn't show up at all. Hmmm. It was there in my preview.

When I read your message (on a laptop) the smilie is right before the arrow, where you intended it to go.
Is it at the end of the message when you view it now?

I like this new layout I find it very user friendly. I read somewhere that you were going to put chat in a separate area and not on the main page anymore. Where can I find that or are you still working on that?

Seems nice so far. Some features are an obvious improvement. It'll take time to all sink in, but I'm doing some things differently already and it seems natural.

I'm sorry to answer for @anthony but chat will live on its own page and it hasn't been re-activated yet.

Completely understand the changes and honestly, this is the best make-over I think the site has had. It kind of makes the previous iterations that weren't so well-received (I know I'm guilty of that) make more sense as being part of the site's journey. Also, I think your own state of mind and place mentally affects how you take the changes. So, massive thank you.

I know it's just probably a bug but I had to accept the privacy policy when I first logged in a couple of times before it would let me do anything else. All good now though
