Well, Valentine's Day is a few days away and we agreed no presents.

Some time ago I mentioned to Anthony that I had heard Faith Hill & Tim McGraw were touring Australia and I would like to go. Anthony thinks I have a love triangle going on with them as I love Faith's singing and I like Tim as an actor, while really liking the love they have for each other as I'm a romantic at heart. He's no big fan.

Anyway the decision was 'no' but I did go online looking at the tickets and thought they were too expensive. I checked as late as a few days ago. There were only single tickets left and I still thought no, too expensive.

Today I got a phone call at work from Anthony asking me had I stuck to the agreement of no Valentine's present.Yes I had and he said "good as I've done enough damage for both of us." My reaction was "oh no, what have you done" thinking he had bought more books, computer software or some forum upgrade and I was already getting ready to be cross.

I screamed (everyone cam running) when he told me what he had done. He had bought front row tickets from the pre-sale of Faith & Tim's second newly released concert! OMG how lucky am I?!

We are going to the Melbourne Concert but here is the best link I could find [DLMURL]http://www.allphonesarena.com.au/Event_Calendar/Tim%20McGraw%20and%20Faith%20Hill.aspx[/DLMURL]. I'm sooooooooo excited :D

What are your Valentine's Day plans/gifts/ ideas?

If you're not celebrating/don't believe in the commercialism thats cool - please just leave those comments out of this thread as it's meant to be a happy thread. Thanks.

I have bought hubby a new style Dream Catcher I saw online a few days ago. It is in the style of an Eagles Nest.

With both of us currently being unemployed, I managed to find him a warm, insulated coat (on sale for only 8.50 us dollars) in his favorite college football team colors (red and black) and a Thinsulate toboggan for $2.00. Believe it or not they are good quality and brand new. The store was having a 50% off lowest ticket price. The coat was already discounted to $17.00. This was definately a miracle for me, and I am thankful. He gets his card on Tuesday.

OMG now THAT is awesome Nicolette!!!:inlove:

Since our anniversary is a couple days shy of Valentine's Day we will be celebrating on our day. I already purchased my dress this year - got an awesome price for it and it fits like a glove plus thigh high boots (how tacky for a broad my age, he"s going to LOVE them!! ;)) - but unfortunately we are not going to our usual charity event so we will hopefully go to a place on the water that we had gone to when we first met.

Balloons and chocolate...we never go a year without them! :) We bet how long the balloon will last, this last one "lived" 5 1/2 months! No lie! I documented it month after month.
