General Vet Frustrations

Anyone know of ways to handle a vet who gets frustrated easily? Things like automated phone systems, outbursts. We have been together 3 years and it seems like he's getting frustrated more and more easily. We are arguing more then usual. Usually I'm helping him with his issues but I've recently started having my own and that's when a lot of this started. I consider myself patient wth him but since my medical issues started it seems like things have don't down hill. He asks me what's wrong, I tell him and then he gets frustrated cause there's nothing he can do to help, or I mention going to ER cause of the pain and first thing he does is complain about wait times... makes me feel so insignificant? I'm not sure how to explain it...

He's not managing his stressors and he is lashing out. It's pretty typical unfortunately.

You're not going to be able to do anything to help it... all you can do is not engage if he starts arguing or lashing out at you.

Sorry it's rough right now. Being the target for this kind of behavior sucks.

Thank you, it is difficult. We can usually work it out but it is very frustrating. I know I'm not but it gets lonely trying to deal with it. I really am thinking I need therapy to help my understanding lol

You say, he is getting more and more frustrated lately. Has something changed recently (new medication, new job, whatever)? Maybe it is because of the holidays. Does he struggle with that?
