Me too.Yep.
When my anxiety is running hot it’s either
- all day every day
- from when I wake up until 10-15 hours later / I can gradually force it down
- wake up fine but comes on gradually during the course of the day
Thank you@EveHarrington For me, personally, no. Because if I’ve got an outside cause for a symptom / that goes away when I deal with that outside cause (Malnourishment, hormones, med reaction, sleep dep, etc.)? I file it under that instead of PTSD-schtuff. There are certainly times when outside stuff impacts PTSD stuff, and the effects can also certainly domino or feed off of each other, but generally speaking outside causes are EasyButtons. When those are sorted? What I’ve got left is my baseline.

@Longtime ptsd Eve makes a very good point... it’s very easy to mistake outside influences as PTSD stuff, but those outside influences usually have super easy fixes. At least comparatively. Take a pill, change your diet, etc.
I haven't been to therapy in about a year. I did help some but I didn't get far enough. I need to get back in.Thanks for the reply zoogal.
Did you ever try therapy? If so did it help any?
