I really hope you are able to find a counselor soon. Frankly I don't buy that your uncle thought it was normal. Most people, abuse survivors included know that showing kids pornography is wrong.

Still no clue, and not going to try and guess what happened to you., but it does sound like you grew up in a family that was high risk for being an abuse victim. That is as far as I feel I can go with it.

A few nights ago I was trying to fall asleep and I couldn't stop thinking about this. My mind was wandering to different memories of my childhood, sort of filtering as far back as I could go with events that occurred with different people. I experienced something really startling..This happened two nights in a row and both nights, I can't remember what I was thinking about right now, but I know that at the moment I knew it was the same thing both times. I suddenly couldn't recollect anything but felt sudden and sharp pain in my head and in my chest. The first time it happened I even gasped out loud, sort of freaked out by this unexpected sensation, and then I couldn't calm down either times. It really freaked me out and I'm just not going to try to recall anything that doesn't come naturally anymore. Like you said, not worth it. :(

I know my mother never wanted me around those people, I didn't find out reasons until later. I'm on the waiting list with a counselor so I'm praying I'll get assigned one soon. Thank you :)
