I texted my therapist about trying to get back in. I am not looking forward to it but I need to. I have encouraged my girls to continue but if I avoid it I'm just a hypocrite.

Thank you. It's not going to work out anyway ...my therapist moved too far and I'm not starting over. No freaking way. That's probably not a really helpful label for you. Maybe you just want to be a better role model for your kids. That's something positive you're doing. People have all kinds of reasons to go or not go.
Thank youI have found that seeing a new therapist isn’t starting over at all. Instead it’s like opening a new chapter in a book. It’s actually moving forward. Plus, nothing changes if nothing changes. But, if you have considered all the pros and cons and decided not getting therapy is the best option for you then that’s ok too. Totally ok.
Thank youTwo things: I wish you all the best first and foremost. Secondly, I do admire mothers who are open and willing to learn about themselves in relation to their children. You are a hero in my book.
