sea food, especially lobster. I live about an hour and a half from one of the biggest dungeoness crab fisheries, so thats not exotic, but I love me some shell fish and lobster is the top of that pyramid.

I always looked for the food that no one else in my family would eat so it would always be there when I went looking, but all my kids (NEIGHBORHOOD TOO) learned to like my smoked oysters. they disappeared just as fast as the pumpkin pie filling eaten directly by spoon from the can......it was hopeless, they ate everything! But I am fairly sure not many people relish them like my family does- smoked oyster packed in water, NOT OIL!

favorite wine is whatever i can stand. Wineries all around me but i dont know my pinot from my reisling aaaaaand thats okay because i always get schooled by my host and wine people live to educate the unsophisticated.

@OliveJewel I eat my oysters straight on a cracker or in a mediterranean salad with a good vinagrette, never tried mayo, i like fried oysters with horseradish sauces, mayo could make a decent sauce for the pan fries
