Not that harsh but the minutes before a summer storm cracks open when the winds are whipping harder and harder and the grey clouds are churning and rippling—I love the tension, knowing that the release is coming!

What is your favorite thing on your wall?

I have a small wooden shelf that has different segments to it. It has hearts carved out in the wood. I display some of my favorite items; a pic of my daughter's 3rd birthday party, a votive holder with red hearts painted on the sides of it, and a mirror that is heart-shaped and made of natural wood, etc.

Favorite Totem animal /Spirit animal? A favorite animal that you gravitate toward.

oh this sounds so cliche, but it's a cat... I feel like so many of my emotions could be equated to a cat expression/body language or ears.
