What Accent Do You Love?

I've always been partial to a French accent. Not so much the Canadian version. I've heard the old French refer to it as "Sale François" (dirty french)

Though the one I'm most fond of is that southern US accent from Louisiana. There is just something nice about that soft drawl.

Dutch South African is a nice accent to listen to as well.

@lostforgottensoul - i like the new york accent cos they miss letters out when pronouncing certain words , much like us yorkshire folk do. We tend to be lazy and miss 'the' out ie rather than say ' i am going to the park with the dog' - a yorkshire person would say 'im off t'park wit' dog' lol
Ive just seen a clip on you tube of an american actress doing a Yorkshire accent ... It was not a bad effort ;)
Amy walker - british accent tip - yorkshire ( if you fancy a giggle)

'im off t'park wit' dog'

Haha! I just said that do myself and "wit dog" sounds so weird. Like a lisp sounds weird.

Yeah, new yorkers, MA, NH, all of that area leaves out letters. Just listen to the Wahlbergs (Mark or Donnie), Matt Damon, Ben Affleck (all friends growing up I believe I read somewhere), all from MA...Boston.

I bet you got a thing for "Marky Mark" lol. Or Danny in NKOTB. Haha. ;) He is my dad's "guy" for his role in Blue Bloods which is all filmed in trailers seen on The Wahlbergers.

The other way around. Russians can commonly be Slavs / Slavic people, but not all Slavs are Russian.

Yeah, I need to learn Geography better.
