I have mixed feelings this morning. I have some hope that I can survive the morning without too much physical pain (I have Sciatic Nerve Pain or Sciatica) and I am going to church. If you know anything about Sciatica, you know that it makes sitting VERY difficult and painful. Church, of course, is something that we usually do sitting down. You know, you sit in a pew and you listen to the sermon. Well, for me, that is like asking my to climb a mountain with a 250 pound backpack on my back, and not to fall while I'm at it! Needless to say, I will be standing in the back of the church most likely.
I stood today while I made a pot of soup. I cut the veggies while standing, I ate my breakfast while standing and about the only relief I can get is by leaning forward, standing, walking or laying down, so while I write this, I am leaning forward on my arms and making a lot of mistakes that I need to correct. (Hence my absence from this Forum for the most part these days which pains me too, of course).
So I am vascillating between hope and despair.
