What Are You Grateful For Today?

What are you grateful for?

I am grateful for my husband and my kids and how gentle and sweet they are.

I am grateful fo my cats.

I'm grateful for my sweet kids at the Home for Children with AIDS who laugh, love and play regardless of their illness.
I'm grateful for the friends and family I do have that didn't disown me.

I'm grateful that I got to see the baby house wrens that we've been watching (nest under the eaves of the front porch) leave the nest today and test their wings out. It was really cool to see that. And to see my husband sit in the front yard and be their guard from any neighborhood cats while they were hopping around.

This is a really good thread. No matter what, I decided a while back to live each day with a grateful heart. So when it's raining and I have to get out of my car to open the cattle gate, instead of bitchin' about it, I say outload; "I am grateful for this cattle gate because it means I have a home to live in." when my youngest son who is still in the home with me does something to annoy me, I say; " I am grateful for this child in my life whom I love dearly." If someone cuts my off in traffic; "I am grateful my eyes are good enough to see another person who drives dangerously and can keep myself safe."
I am grateful that lately I have been meditating on positive affirmations, self love and acceptance. I am beautiful, intelligent, capable and valuable!!!!

I am grateful for all people who have been unjustly brutalized, have fallen sick, or have had either their life circumstances, disease or addiction beat them, sometimes to a pulp, and yet still they continue forward through another day, setting forth to learn from it all while doing their very best to share and/or strive toward the bestest of their spirit, to care and with a good attitude, to take seriously self-preservation and self-care, so that they may find life and joy in continuing service of others.

They don't ever give-up on themselves and/or others! ....for this I am grateful.

I am grateful for another day of life.
I am grateful for this forum and the support therein
I am grateful to have a job and a way to support myself
I am grateful for my freedom that so many have fought hard to protect!

I am grateful for my partner who calls me during the day just to hear my voice as it is a balm for his soul :) and who tells me that if he spent all his time with me it would never be enough.

I am grateful that my family are giving me space, although they don't know the reason why this is necessary

I am grateful for my home, for the safety and security and peace I find here.
