What Are You Grateful For Today?

I am grateful for love....without it I wouldn't believe in the right to be here or to heal from trauma etc.

There are so many things that I wouldn't believe in or do without love!!!

It may be disguised as "just helping out a fellow PTSD sufferer", but to me it is Love that makes this work!!

I am so very grateful for the love of my family and of my friends,...

as the song says, "Without love, ...Where would you be now???"

My breath and other automatic bodily functions that I often unintentionally totally ignore (unless it stops working smoothly) and take for granted.

Clean water that many take for granted, especially the folks who profit rather handsomely from f*ng it all up.

The skills, the space, the tools, and ability to grow a lot of our own food.

The desire to keep learning as I steadily unload tons of useless bullshit I've been taught as being THE truth.

For the fact that the weirdness that often happens when I type out a big ass post, and then the whole thing somehow gets highlighted and instantly deleted at the first touch of a button, didn't happen in this particular post, as it just did in the last one I attempted......damn modern technology....always tripping me up....but I'll sure miss it when it's gone. lol

Grateful to have seen a long video story today about a 4 person team in Ecuador from Sweden who were on a adventure marathon event. The team leader fed a stray dog meatballs... and the dog followed them through the jungle through to the finish line. He was named Arthur (as in King Arthur) and the injured and exhausted dog finished with them and he was adopted and is now living in Sweden because had he remained, he would have died. Needed something inspirational, and it made me cry.

Grateful for heart-felt support from those who walked with me through the last part of my mom's journey. I spoke with two of them yesterday and they were just wonderfully kind and understanding, and supportive. It really helps to talk with people who know your story and can relate to what you've been through and are now dealing with. You know...kind of like out here! :) Feeling blessed in this regard.
