I am grateful that I got booked in to work at a lovely school tomorrow, teaching Science outdoors to Grade 4s! Woo hoo!

FRESH Yellowfin tuna steaks (lovely color) - received this morning NEVER frozen!!! Special seared tuna delight for this house even though I already started the Tunisian twisted lamb pie... it's a toss up but the lamb will keep. Still makin' up my mind. It this wasn't Kentucky I'd have had it chopped on sushi with wasabi or siracha roe already. How brave do I wanna be... very hard to resist but so so tempted. Goooottttt to restrain myself, stick to seared with black sesame seeds (cuz in my mind that's at least a half way measure to just chopping it up and eating it raw over rice. Very very happy... and grateful with caution.

Sun that warmed a windy day close to the 70s for mom's burial.

Disposable N-95 masks that made it possible for me to sit through services and hug a lot of folks who were marinating in all the things that make me feel ill.

Services going smoothly and beautifully with lots of big hearts filled with big love all in the same room.

Offerings of ears to listen and shoulders to cry on.

Memories that brought comfort and laughter.

The space I need to feel all the feels...may I remember and enact the ways I know how to kindly and gently heal those feels.
