Hygienist appointment (dental) and when I whipped out my checkbook... found out I had a credit (though ambigious about how much or why I wasn't notified) so that and the super duper special fluoride toothpaste I have to use was (drumroll please) NO charge (cymbals clash)! Is it "for real"? Kind of doubt it and think I likely owe them something but for today... that was something to be grateful for.

Grateful for a peek at the sun today, albeit brief.

Ran into a former coworker who's in a new job and she wants to catch up and "give me the skivvy" and making a picnic and taking a half day trip tomorrow. Yup, grateful.

The quiet of this morning. I'm not in a rush. The dogs are mellow. Little noise outside except the sound of birds

I am grateful for my health insurance. I had none until I retired. Today, I went to pick up a med and my co-pay was only $3.80. The med cost $1901.53!!!!!

I'm grateful for all of you here. I really am. I put on a happy face, but struggle a lot. Coming here helps me continue with my recovery.
