What Are You Grateful For Today?

That the storms passed or were weathered.
That I have the house to myself for a while.
That others were ok in the storms.
For my friend's feedback on opinion I thought too, supporting and explaining what was my gut feeling when I don't quite 'get it'.
For new insights but support to have confidence to stick with what is clearer and more grounding for me. To be discriminating.
For work but being off for 3 days pretty soon.
For courage not to take extra shifts.
For water.
For hugs.
For family, friends, our dog, and thoughts of a gentle, strong God.
For the ability to see.
For kindness.
For gentleness, especially when I feel devastated, terrified, sick, and/or worn out.

3. Saying hello to a blue macaw I just met. He/she was very friendly and waved hello at me.
4. Discovering diamond doves which are beautiful.
5. The placidity of doves. I saw one dove literally using another dove like a step ladder and stepping all over the other dove's facem. this other dove was brooding as well. That dove just took it with no complaints. I would have pecked that other dove into oblivion. Thank you dove for teaching me kindness and forbearance.
