I'm grateful that one of my sons is very good about doing his work when you ask him to.

I am grateful for children in need day, it has extra special meaning to me this year as the little one i work with is a child in need and benefits from all the charities the money raised goes to. I'm especially thankful for the people who donated, for the hard work that goes into the charities and for the little boys mum who is amazing.

I am grateful to be letting go of a dilemna which is out of my control. I am grateful to relax and not worry about it anymore.

I am grateful for children in need day

To let you know how this generosity to kids play out as they get older, I was one of those children that was a child in need. For Christmas, there was a party where each of us kids got a present from Santa. Mine was one of those tracing fashion art sets. They also took me to buy a gift for my mom. I bought her a pitcher with grape candies. This was about 40 years ago and I remember it nearly like yesterday.

That kindness that was shown to me gets paid forward in the things I do. I try to encourage others to do the same. I'm really glad you are touching a child's life. It makes a difference.

Today I am grateful for a family(my husband and boys) that love me for me.

The little boy I work with wont grow old, but has the best possible life because of everyone's kindness so I am grateful, without the charities (funded/supported by children in need donations) he wouldn't have nearly as much equipment or daily experiences that add so much quality to his life. He is an inspiration to all and a little fighter. He has the opportunity to do things that would otherwise be impossible, i am so grateful that he has been given that chance.

Also grateful that despite the recession more money was raised this year than last, kind of restores my faith in this world and reminds me that people haven't lost sight of what's important, right and kind.

I'm grateful to my brother. He always spends Christmas with us. Tonight I arrived home and he has sent me a cheque saying that this year, Christmas is on him.
