What Are You Grateful For Today?

For All The Support And Encouragement

For all the people on who have held me up over the last few days. And kept me from going under or leaving him on his own.

One in particular, if you read this you know who you are thank you. He enjoyed talking to you.

I am so grateful that in my daily walk around the lake the other day, I saw someone that I knew but hadn't seen in some time. We finished our walk and then sat under a shade tree and we talked, and talked about our lives and families.
 
I am grateful for:

mommy
my kitties
BudNiko and Thomasina
friends I've made here
friends in real life
being able to finally say what I've been thinking for so long.
flowers
it being green outside
sunshine
thunderstorms
tastebuds (actually all senses)
having some hope for the first time in a long time

Music that is keeping me going while I wait, such as:

Queens of the Stone Age
Uriah Heep
Bonobo
Quantic

Right now the biggest thing I am grateful for is LOVE...especially new love. :)
 
That I was able to get out of bed this morning with a good frame of mind and actually feel like doing something. It's 7:30am and I am accomplishing what I couldn't this weekend.

I am so grateful that since I have been here, I am now thinking of my life back in 1972, after the funeral of my husband, and I was alone in this town.

I am grateful now I can look back and see how I kept going up to visit my "family" as that is what I thought you were supposed to do. Instead, the ptsd never went away.

I am grateful that even though it might be 2009, it is never too late.:smile:
 
I'm grateful for my therapist
I'm grateful for two good meeting at work
I'm gratefu for how green everything is with all the rain we've had
I'm grateful for this forum
 
I am grateful for all the same things I was grateful for the other day, plus:

1) My voice (and that I am starting to use it to help myself, rather than just sing)

2) The people who are helping me see my self worth (and that I am finally able to listen)

3) Letting go of myself with wild abandon

4) Warm clothing

5) Cozy beds

6) Herbal tea

and 7) chapstick :)
