What Are You Grateful For Today?

God's help.
The kindness, patience and genuineness of good people.
Help with a HUGE problem.
Getting more strength to live, by standing up for myself.
Life.

My daughter-in-law, for her amazing support
My one yr old granddaughter, for her smiles & kisses
For my son, even though he just cannot understand the place I'm in right now
This forum & everyones support. Thank you.

For the life of a classy, humble lady who died yesterday
She PATIENTLY taught me how to sew (and rip out mistakes)
She ran my junior high/high school lunch room with a smile
She raised her children (including my favorite teacher at that school) well
Sad that she's gone, but grateful that she was part of my life
Bye Mrs A

Today I am grateful to the tips of my toes for seeing the cat I adopted discover how to play today. He was abused greatly and lived wild for several years. When I brought him into my home, he as nothing but bones and wounds. He even lost his tail. He had horrible nightmares at first and was really sick. He spaces out a lot. I felt like I could completely relate to him. A raggedy misunderstood soul just wanting to be loved.

Tonight I had my camera out taking a video of him, he just let start petting him and snuggling him like a kitten. As I Was filming, he grabbed onto the string and started playing. His eyes became like a kitten and the purrs were unreal.

So today i am grateful for the small steps in life, and innocence.

My husband again.

For helping me to colour my hair yesterday, he is getting quite the expert at it now. :thumbs-up

I have to hide the grey bits now

For the support of all the awesome people on this forum

For the chance to take a vacation in Colorado and have some time to myself, and the opportunity to try to learn to relax.

I am grateful that I was able to pitch a tiny hissy fit over mom's bed being wet and her not getting upset at me for it. She just sat there and snickered at me while I tripped over the bed, kicked the light cord out of the wall and dam near broke my fool neck crawling around all the medical jun k in order to make the bed. Then we both laughed.

I am grateful for so much. A long the way, I'd come to know, learn, experience and relearn that gratitude is both a feeling and an action, as is love.

I'm gratefult that there are lessons for broader living and loving to be found in so many life experiences.
