What Are You Grateful For Today?

I'm grateful for my Goddaughter, Ashley. She made me smile several times today. She included me in her play, sat on my knee and chatted with me, and gave me a big hug goodbye. It doesn't get any better than that :)

I got up at 5:30 AM to go to the gym. Used to go almost every day. Hardly at all since PTSD raised it's ugly head up 3 years ago in our household.

Time to regain control of myself. Hope I can sustain it.

The people we staid with last night were totally awesome and kind and helpful
I get to meet up with a friend in Denver today
I know where to go to get a really strong martini before heading to the airport
I picked up my meds from the pharmacy so I have the ones I need in order to fly
I get to go home tonight... it'll be on a plane and I'm terrified, but it will be nice to be home
I've been offered some jobs in Boston, so I may be able to move pretty soon.

My granddaughter, who was full of cold last Friday but insisted she was going to school, like she said.

"It's only a cold mummy"

Bless her she is only 4 1/2 and just started full time school last Monday.

I am grateful for my cat, especially when she thinks she is a dog and plays fetch with me.

I am grateful that I am able to write and play music to help express what I can't find words to express.

I am grateful for balloon animals. They make me smile. I enjoy twisting balloons. I enjoy the smiles my friends make when I hand them over.

I have 2 wonderful people in my life. Both are great pillars in my life. They know how to show me the sunshine. Very grateful to both.
