What Are You Thankful For?

I'm thankful I survived to live this long, and have finally figured out how to be happy in spite of everything going on around me.

I am thankful that I have plans for this week.

I am thankful that hubby did not get overwhelmed with today.

He may have gone to bed after tonight's dinner, but he enjoyed every minute of today.

Safenow, that's an impressive accomplishment.

I am thankful that my husband is recovering from his cancer surgery. There will be more to come, but one step at a time.

I am thankful for the emotions that I am feeling in short bursts, every day for the last couple of weeks.

I am thankful that my husbands brother send us a big package of omaha steaks. We are waiting to talk to him on the phone. That was a lovely surprise.

I am thankful to have a few peaceful days while my kids visit their grandparents.

I am so pleased to have a kindle reader. It's the smallest one they have and I have to see adds all the time, but I don't care. The funny thing is, it says if you only read 1/2 hour a day the battery charge lasts a month. LOL. Who can read only a half hour a day? i guess I'd better charge it once a week. Anyway, the reason I am so thankful for it, is my hands and arms have arthritis in them, so it's hard to hold a book. But with this little device, I can rest it on the table, hold it, turn the page without moving my hands so much. All it takes it is a movement of one finger to turn a page. Isnt' that exciting. Now I can enjoy reading again.
