I am Immensely Thankful :) that my daughter is still alive and she is well.

Something of a mystery, perhaps her guardian angel intervened in saving her today, and her health. From all appearance her heart remains healthy as does the rest of her. She however was absolutely terrified after she was electrocuted, stuck and then freed. She has since checked out in good condition and without any permanent physical injury.

I'm thankful I got the green light to go back to work Monday (but didn't tell him I went back yesterday)... it's no lift til next week though. :whistling:

I'm grateful that I've finally found a new therapist that can help me, that doesn't think I would be retraumatized in dealing with the past and has really been so much better that I glad I quit the previous ones that didn't seem right. Never again will I doubt my instincts.

I am grateful for the beautiful little puppy that we brought for my son today and seeing the delight on his face when we surprised him, who reminds me of how carefree the young can be when they are not weighed down by life. He reminds me that there is beauty and joy in the world, if only I can take off my depression goggles.

Turns out, the cleaner apartment is nice for my self-esteem. :laugh:

I'm the same it is so nice to have a clean place, nice and tidy with some scented candles lit. It is good for the soul. So why do I find it so hard to tidy - one of lifes little mysteries :rolleyes:

I'm thankful I can feel when I am becoming overwhelmed and that I have the ability to stop and allow myself to rest.

I am thankful it's Friday.
I am thankful all my work is done and I can cuddle under the blanket today.
I am thankful for my stuffed animal (first one I have ever cuddled with...strange for a woman my age???)
I am so thankful for modern technology. I am thankful for my computer, my tv. When my great-grandmother got depressed all she could do was walk the country roads and cry.
I am thankful for my new soup pot that I can cook big quantities in so easily.
