What Are You Thankful For?

I am thankful that I have a long time waking up. That I do not have to get out of bed and go somewhere

I am thankful for this beautiful day..

I'm thankful, I can curl up at home. It is a windy cold night and I am snug and secure.

I know I'm thankful for my dog a lot, but, yesterday, she stayed in bed with me even though the hubby and kids were downstairs. This morning, when everyone left, she stayed in bed with me til I got up. Now she is staying close to my side. I'm feeling very cared for right now.

I'm also thankful for the sound of my kids and hubby all getting along. Even if they are a bit loud.

I am thankful that I can practice not taking things said to me personally. The key word is practice it. Not perfectly, just the best I can.

I am thankful that my oldest, introverted son, spoke up for himself at his psychiatrist's appointment. He's been suffering from depression and anxiety. I'm very proud of him.

I'm thankful for our transit system, without which I would have a hard time getting to dr.'s appointments and such. Even just to go to visit a friend a dozen miles frm here, I need to take transit.
