What Are You Thankful For?

I am so thankful for the kindness, help, and support of the people on the forum.

It now has been a week since I talked with my cousin, after all these many years.

I am thankful for our conversation, as her words have helped to finally get so many of my trauma stories from my head to my heart about my family.

I am also thankful for the best therapist I had in the very beginning. So much of what we worked on, was centered around my family. He was instrumental in showing me how much I had been abused.

I am thankful for those people who have come into my life to aid in my healing!

I'm thankful I have a new therapist. Of course it has only been one visit, but she seems promising. I'd be even more thankful if her hours available weren't so late.

I'm thankful for kind people. I'm also thankful to the three people who called me human. My little are very thankful for that one, and wanted me to tell you all that.

I am thankful that my husband is having a good day so far. He is looking forward to watching the Superbowl today. He keeps asking me what time it is on. I am thankful that his brother and his wife are making calls for services for us on my behalf. It is time to bring others in assisted living into our lives now.

I'm thankful I do not have to go out in this weather.

I am thankful for my husband and children.
I am thankful the surgeon is doing another surgery to help my husband's abscess heal.

I am thankful that there are other sources of help for my husband out there.

Waiting for our local health department to send a Therapy appointment is like waiting for paint to dry.
