That would kinda be cool...maybe interesting is a better word....until everyone starts turning on everyone else! Like those doomsday preppers on tv. I think they're idiots. Millions know who they are and in a true catastrophe, they will be targeted first. They won't be able to keep everyone out forever.... The only smart preppers are the ones who keep it all a secret.

And then you'd have those who wouldn't know what to do without their weekly manicures and such. In a society where money means nothing, how would people like the kardashians survive?!?

My greatest fear is that that in my elder years I will no longer be able to work, not have the financial means to tend to medical needs or support myself and will have no one to turn to, and will die in psychological and physical pain.

I am living your fear, Dean, except I have my mom and a couple of friends. I am 54, not quite elder, but Social Security is not enough and I can't get my small pension until later.
