Packaging.
I am older, but am I just not as nimble or have weaker fingers than I did or have mfg.'s forgotten that their product will be purchased and unwrapped by a human? When was the last time you saw a pull tab for quick opening of a pack of gum? when was the last time it took less time to get the first shot of mustard than the time it took to get out every last squirt thereafter combined? Blister packs, hate em.
I buy a lot of industrial stuff, it sits in a warehouse, then on a truck, then on my bench. Easy open. This stuff was never packaged for retail sales, and it sure isn't food. Easy. Add retail, add food, it's going to make me crazy.

It's why when I used to do process documentation - I would take it to someone who had no idea what they were doing and have them follow the instructions - because that way you find the things that are obvious to you (because you know what you are doing) but not to everyone else.......

LMAO. S’how I ended up as a beta tester for Adobe. Apparently I do everything so bass ackwards (Why would you even try to do it that way… no. No. I don’t want to know.) that I kept finding (and reporting) bug after bug after bug, rather than user error. It was the brand new version, so I figured that was just normal. Nope! Not really.

After a certain point they reached out to see if I was interest in a free Suite, if I’d put the next version through its paces BEFORE it was released! Sho sho! That’s a few thousand dollars of free software, sign me up! Breakin shit is what I do BEST.

I never took any creative suite classes, or watched tutorials, or anything… I just played around with the tools. Until I figured out what they did. And then did that. Since it worked perfectly (except for the bugs), I never bothered to track down the instructions.

Some days it's the small things that send me over the edge... I have quite few Pet Peeves, and thought others would like to share theirs....

People pulling out in front of me, when no traffic behind me, to go one block and turn....
People standing in the middle of the isle while shopping...and being totally ignorant to me standing there fuming. I back up, go around the other isle to get to what i need, and then they are gone when I get there .....
Someone saying 'huh' when you have told them something really important.
Wishy washy people, friendly one time and a blank stare the next... (hmm, just thought, that could be one of US !)

My list is huge . Patience is NOT one of my virtues... so will leave room for others to share...

-People who disparage shy people.
-People who hurt animals with no reasons
-Bullys
-People who says you can count on them but them they just ignore you

My pet peeve with those is "instructional videos" If I figure out how to do it myself - I remember how to do it. Because when I watch the video - by the end I forgot the beginning....

Pet peeve: People who think using profanity makes them sound strong in character and their points more valid. In reality, it only illustrates their immaturity, poor communication skills, and lack of an adequate vocabulary.
