OMG, how have I never seen this thread before?!
Off the top of my head:
- Noisy eaters - includes noises made with their mouth, noises made with crockery/cutlery e.g. incessantly rattling a spoon around a cereal bowl and noises made with food containers e.g. rustling a crisp packet.
- Whispering - I can't bear it - it sets my whole being totally on edge. Just speak in a quiet, low voice, you don't have to make horrible whispery sounds.
- Whistling - people who are constantly whistling chirpy tunes as they go about their day to day business. Your whistling is invasive!
- People who eat on public transport.
- People who do their make-up or personal grooming (e.g. filing their nails) on public transport
- People who dress their cats/dogs etc in clothes
- People who interrupt
- People who don't listen, regardless of whether they interrupt or not
- Multi-taskers who insist they are listening/paying attention when at the same time they are also checking their phone, grinning at something on Facebook, typing an email etc
- People who have their phone out at the dinner table - at home or in a restaurant
Phew! That's for starters. Thanks
@ladee for starting this thread and inviting us to vent!
I'm sure I'll be back with more...! ;-)
