Driving is a huge one for me. I got some insane road rage, but the ones that piss me off the most are those who do not use signals and slow down suddenly, or do not get into the turning lane till the last second.
People who throw things at me, to "catch" them without warning. This immediately triggers my anxiety, and throws me into an adrenalin induced attentiveness and reflex, while so pissing me off. I have actually smacked down things tossed at me in reaction, because my body acts before my mind does. I flinch at sudden movements too, or sudden noises in anticipation a lot. This was because my parents thought it was funny to throw things at us, to see if we were paying attention. Usually the rolled up newspaper they used to punish the dogs. You'd be peacefully watching TV, and get smacked in the face. Sometimes getting a black eye. It sometimes damaging anything you were holding. Whats worse, is if you cried or reacted theyd mock and make fun of you, or punish you. So yeah, naturally over the years I developed a reflex to catch or stop fast objects instinctively. I have learned to turn this into something positive, to react in other situations. But the things being thrown at me, still hella pisses me off.
