Nothing, I believe most people don't do it purposefully, they can do it for many reasons, not just laziness, they ca do it out of not knowing any better, being under educated. I also believe it can be because of the trauma they are suffering with, sometimes they just can't see their errors. It can also be a learning disability. I don't think people should be so quick to judge others, how would you feel if it were you and you just couldn't get it right no matter how hard you tried?? Then were being sited for it every time you get it wrong? Maybe there should be an automatic grammar check somehow linked so that it can automatically correct it for people. I realize it is to help everyone understand each other, but what if you just can't help it?? Too bad so sad for you, your not wanted?????

Speaking of LOL, I heard a boss fired all his employees when he closed his business by sending a mass text to them. "You're fired, LOL!" They thought it was a joke.
I heard about it on the radio and a caller suggested that perhaps the guy wasn't Laughing Out Loud about it, but was old school and still thought it meant, Lots of Luck! ROFL!!! :roflmao::roflmao: (Sorry for the somewhat off-subject post)

Uhm, no. Ir=without, less=without, so irregardless= without without regard, otherwise, WITH regard.

Some idiot, at some point, decided that regardless and irrespective needed to hook up. Their bastard child is irregardless. A needless, double negative.
As it stands, regardless and irregardless have the SAME meaning. Therefore, irregardless is redundant and needs to be phased out. Much like in the movie "Office Space" where the stapler guy gets moved to the basement, and stops receiving paychecks.
Seriously, when I hear someone use the word irregardless, I want to kick them in the gonads and point out just how stupid they sound.
