It has been almost thirty years, since I was diagnosed with short term memory (STM) lapses, as the result of a learning disability assessment. I know that depression, stress, brain trauma and the lack of sleep can be traced back, as the cause of this. Also, I am, very sure that I have missed, a few other causes for STM. I would love to know, what is causing my STM, given my long history with it.
I know, I had some head trauma, when I was a toddler, as I have a 2 cm long scar, on the back of my head, which only shows, when my hair is cut very short, like with a number 2 razor clip. And I may have suffered a concussion or two, from the various beating that I received, before I was 13 years old.
Sigh.
