I bought a candle holder and a pumkin candle the other day, waiting for a rainy day to enjoy them. Today is that rainy day! And THE CANDLE HAS SUCH A WONDERFUL AROMA. The candle holder is copper, handmade, also antique AND I BOUGHT IT IN A THRIFTSTORE FOR $2!!!

I put the grading of papers aside to go upstairs and make space, empty some shelves in front of an eastern-facing window to bring my outdoor plants in -- our first freeze warning is coming up this week.

I went to a gathering place and it was good. I got out of the house for awile. I got us mocha frappes. I am already planning what I will do for me tommorow. It sure is a beautiful day.

I went Christmas shopping for a couple of hours this morning. A bit of retail therapy did me the world of good.

I took a shower, got dressed, walked to the store and bought what we needed for today.
When my Mom called I was honest with her about being afraid that she will disappear again and not want me. Also, she is having surgery in January and that really, really scares me.
Even though I may feel vulnerable and silly I have to be strong enough to tell the truth and be vulnerable...right?!

Geez, after reading all of these posts I'm a bit embarrassed. I was happy to have brushed my teeth and put my hair up in a respectable pony tail. Of course I also stayed on the computer listening to music, but that is a given in my day!:oops:
