Good for you. I freak out this time of year at the rising cost of power! I prepaid my electric so I can be cozy. I pretend I have a fireplace. There is nothing more calming. Enjoy

I had a free coupon for any beverage at Starbucks and used it for the biggest cup of Cappuccino, skim, extra shot of espresso, I could get. That was a nice feeling.

I put on my new pretty purple sweater and looked all dressed up. We went food shopping. I ran errands and got us a mocha frappe. We will have tacos tonight. And then we will have Ben and Jerrys ice cream. We will watch some good movies.

Went to the store today, and I got to see one of my "babies". The only thing was that he was all grown up and had his twin daughters, about 6 months old with him.

As I was walking into the store, I was stopped by this lady, whom was pointing me out to her son and saying to him, "she was there when we got you". Yes, I recognized her as I worked at an adoption agency for many years.

I stood there and looked at his twin daughters and got caught up on everything. Feeling pretty old, but it was so nice to see this family and how I still had a connection with them after all these years!

I printed off some photos and pasted them into the front of my new journal.

I explained to my children that my brain is full right now and that as much as I would like to listen to everything they have to say, I just can't.

They seem to understand and I prevented a melt down for me. :D

I slept late and took my computer from one of my children to get on this forum. Usually, I would just deny myself my right to my own things.

I have been watching really trashy Christmas films on the Christmas channel.

I have got all my Christmas cards written that need posting. All ready for when the money goes in the bank.

Just need a Christmas miracle to get it there now. :roflmao:

I bought myself a small chocolate Santa and I will eat some later whilst relaxing with a glass of wine. I'm torn between watching a movie and reading my book - or maybe a bit of each.

I went out with some friends, I went out and got a choclate chip frappe and McDonalds for tonight. I put on a new shirt and i love it. It is so comfortable. Watching christmas movies.

I didn't do yoga in morning, I was not feeling well to do so. I was confused to do or not to do.
