What Do You Really Think Of Others (with Ptsd) Who Have Less Trauma Than You?

A little progress but still can't get past this properly.

The other difficulty is that I have a lot in common with those who have really severe abuse histories. In terms of my reactions and patterns. My thinking and general relating. And yet I don't have that type of history. I do have multiple incidents and starting young but they are not "almost dying from abuse" or being violently gang raped. It is another aspect of my difficulties. That my reactions are out of proportion to the trauma. I guess some of those reactions possibly/potentially come from things other than actual life-and death/violation trauma.

The only time I had a problem was when people who claimed to have PTSD seemed condescending toward others about not trying hard enough. I know they experienced trauma. I just wonder if they developed PTSD as a result. Not all trauma leads to PTSD. I just think if you're feeling well enough to tell other people your PTSD is due to you not trying hard enough, what if you actually don't have it yourself? That would be good news for them. I just fail to see how anyone can blame anyone for suffering symptoms. If it was easy to find a way out of this box then all of us would find away out. If you're having some great days I think you're lucky and you should realize you're lucky and not simply credit yourself for all your hard work.

Sorry. I've only seen that a few times. It's rare but noticeable when it happens.
