What Have You Accomplished Lately?

I sat with my back to a door of a yogurt place. I kept my mouth shut when a couple loudly slid their plastic chairs in instead of just picking them up. Startled me and THEY gave ME the nasty look. Grrrrr. I shared with a fairly new friend why I was afraid to have back to door and managed to stay grounded while I did so.
 
I went to a group therapy even though its an hours drive away in heavy traffic for the first time.
It wasnt as bad as I thought it would be.
Other peoples ptsd is interesting to hear about in person, I'm glad I signed up for this now.

Went back to work, am more philosophical about having job in different sector than I want to be in.
 
When I was having therapy a few years ago, I asked about group therapy, but was told there "wasn't enough people with PTSD to justify that?" and besides, they don't encourage that?

My therapy was stopped after a few sessions, as they said I wasn't responding quickly enough, because it had too many issues going back over too long a time?

Anyway, I'm glad that you are able to work, and that you are enjoying this site, looking forward to reading more of your posts.
 
I'm back to eating five to six small meals a day as opposed to one if I force it.

I'm also getting better at thinking about food - being able to think it at all.

And I am starting to enjoy recipes as interesting, shiny, useful, to be remembered, to be tried out info. :D
