Thank you, May. You are a compassionate carer!! I wonder if men are more likely are less likely to hear a sufferer talk. My last "carer" always blew up over it. So i had to can it 24/7. We are still friends, but the kind that never see each other and just write amusing emails once a month. Truly, in my heart, this may sound cruel, but that person does not even deserve that.
He was not nice at all. Not outright mean or anything, but cold, rude, condescening to me and even family, and anyone else. He hated the world because he had Aspergers's. It was not the reason for him meanness.....a lot of people with Aspergers are exquisitly sensitive, but he was bitter, refused help, was imprisoned in his head and sought to imprison me in his head, too.
Once I tried to talk to him about the way he handled me and he went way off, staring at me, confronting me, leaning in, blaming me.......Eeck!!Even thinking about it!!!:eek:
