What is the purpose of your life?

To recognize better the things I enjoy, and make those things happen more. To help. To try my best to make sure my loved ones know I love them.

I was having a jokey conversation with a friend about number of years ago about life in general when I pointed out that he wasn't here to enjoy himself, he was here to suffer, and I was here to make sure he did. His reply was 'yes, but do you have to be so bloody good at your job.'

We're still friends, but I sometimes wonder how, or why.

I guess my previous answer holds mostly true, but after giving this question more time to marinate in my mind, I have decided that I don't know what my true purpose in life is, ...but it sure doesn't seem to be to have lots of money.
