Coming home from a mad couple of days where everything went wrong and it was my fault it went wrong etc to...

My little girl singing and dancing to sparkle and shine, with pure happiness :hug:

Seeing a man who had been reported missing from a nursing home walking within close proximity of the fire station. Was able to get help quickly and confirm he was okay and had already checked back in....was just out for a stroll on a pretty day. *Whew* Much gratitude for the depth of services provided by emergency personnel in all arenas.

Made a tough phone call but it went better than anticipated. Still issues to resolve, however it didn't blow up so that's good.

My latest course assignment is writing sonnets. Practising them this morning made me happy, because I found I could, and it was fun.

I am glad to say that we paid our county property taxes just this morning (having found the bill in the mail Friday) and we got a 2% discount for early payment. So that's 20 bucks we kept in our pocket.
