What Made You Happy Today?

Seeing my dog run up the stairs and into my room all excited simply because she realized I was awake. That was a wonderful start to the day.

My daughter and the girls are coming over to celebrate my birthday today. I am fifty nine today, I am getting old.

Happy birthday Gizmo! The older I get the younger the ages seem, so, to me, you are definitely not old! Besides, never on here have you ever sounded old!

I am up and dressed ready to go.

I did a yoga pose for my lower back.

I managed the dentist.

Then I bought my self a beach shelter that was reduced by two thirds that I have been looking at for months.

Happy birthday, Gizmo! What's making me happy today is actually anticipation for tomorrow. I'm working from home as I do every Friday, which means I'll get to go for a run in daylight while the sun is (hopefully) shining, instead of having to get up at five in the morning.

Seeing my cat, who avoids the living room because of my small dog, actually joining us in the living room today. He's sunning himself in the window. Big progress for him.

I am happy that I do not have anxiety today at all. I am happy that I am having a lazy day and do not have to go anywhere at all.

I volunteered at a local center for older adults and one of the blind clients made me a necklace.

What made me happy today is.......

My husband and I working hard and cooperatively on difficult work today.

Our aunt stopping by for a visit and treating the family to Chinese food.

A kind, wonderful person upon the forum, being very kind and wonderful to me. And, perhaps while unaware of the invitation, perhaps while not - an invitation for me to breath again, hang in there in life and through suffering, ...and grab hold of my faith in many aspects of life.

Thank you to my husband, to our aunt and to a really neat and very kind person here.
