I ran another race today, a 10K! It went really well!

My youngest daughter was asked to be part of a band (she plays cello). The band had their album launch last Saturday. I am so proud of her, their music is amazing.

I am happy because she is happy.

Buying a new chair for my office space. My son,age 14, had taken over most of my items from my office and slowly but surely I'm getting my stuff back as he gets stuff for his room. However, he is keeping the older chair and I get the new one. This means I don't always need to use my lap top and sit in the living room! This makes me happy.

I had an ER Patient thank me for me being a caring Nurse. LOL, I should point out that she is not the ONLY one, :) but it was a very taxing day and she thanked me as I was going off shift and said she wished I wasn't going home as I transferred her care to the next Nurse. Was a nice end to the day.

My twins are in the same class and I guess my daughter was being very stubborn with the teacher and the teacher told me my daughter was not having a good day. What made me happy is that she told me that my son tried to encourage her and put his arm around her to make her feel better. She probably brushed him off :) The teacher told me how sweet and kind he is.

I usually go into work on Wednesdays for a 1 hour meeting. Today, I've just been told I needn't go in as I'll see my manager tomorrow.

Having a free day makes me happy.

That the washer repair man was able to come early, today, instead of waiting until Friday. Notice a theme to my posts today? All involving my washer. :rolleyes:

Saturday my father took me to their house so I would actually rest after my wrist surgery. My older brother brought his daughters over and while I was allowing my 3 year old niece watch television I noticed that she was scooting herself closer to me until finally she was cuddled in my lap. We snuggled for a while and her older sister came in and got very jealous; when her sister got up from my lap, she immediately took up the space. Although I had been miserable from pain for a few days, I didn't notice any pain at all while I was holding those kids, they truly make my life better.

I went shopping and am set for the summer.
