What Made You Happy Today?

Hopefully no more drama around here. I could use this happy feeling every day.

Going for a morning walk.

Getting my test done at the medical centre. All done now just one more test to go.

How well I did yesterday afternoon and last night.

Not sure if it it made me happy but it was cute and funny. My cat is obsessed with water and as I was having a relaxing bath this morning, he came racing in the room jumped on the bench then fell into the bath in order to try and attack my feet. Bless his cotton socks lol..... but then I had to get out!

My daughters sphinx is in labor and going to have her kittens.

Waking up in a peaceful house. The cat has not yet had her kittens, but I am pretty happy about that.

Making a connection with another person.

Seeing one of older my sisters giddy about the sugar cookies we were baking. She giggled and laughed and watched The Bachelor wedding thing on tv. She has cancer. And she hasn't been feeling good the past couple of days. It was so good to see her giddy like that and to see her happy and smiling. And she thinks I didn't notice but I totally caught her eating raw cookie dough.

Today I was happy when I had a few minutes at the end of being out at the art gallery with my friend, where I stopped picking at myself and seeing myself in the worst possible light and judging myself harshly and I had a little bit of self compassion.
